About Siulas – Masters of Linen Since 1928

Founded in 1928, AB Siulas is one of the oldest flax mill in Lithuania and one of the country’s most experienced and respected linen manufacturers. For nearly a century, we have carried forward a deep-rooted passion for linen — a natural fiber that symbolizes authenticity, durability, and timeless elegance.

Located in the scenic Astravas suburb near Biržai, in northern Lithuania, Siulas is one of the largest employers in the region, with a team of around 260 skilled professionals. The company’s name — “Siūlas”, meaning “thread” in Lithuanian — perfectly reflects what we do: we work with threads every single day, transforming them into fabrics and finished products admired around the world.

Since its early days, Siulas has specialized in linen products, starting with ropes, bags, and technical fabrics. Over the decades, our experience and innovation have expanded our capabilities dramatically.

Every item that leaves our factory goes through a fully integrated production process, which includes:
yarn dyeing → weaving → designing → finishing → sewing → quality control.
Managing all these stages under one roof allows us to maintain strict quality standards, ensure color consistency, and provide our clients with complete customization possibilities.

We use special dyeing and finishing techniques that give our fabrics superior softness, color depth, and long-lasting durability — qualities that make Siulas products trusted by both designers and global brands.

Our linen products reach customers in more than 65 countries worldwide, including the United States, Japan, Belgium, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Scandinavian markets.

Since 2001, Siulas has been a regular exhibitor at Première Vision Paris, one of the world’s most prestigious textile fairs, where we showcase our newest collections and innovations.
